Dr. Raymond A. K. Cox, B.Sc. ( Victoria College, University of Toronto), B. Comm. (Honours) (University of Windsor), M.B.A. (University of Windsor), Ph. D. (Michigan State University), CMA (Institute of Management Accounting, USA), CFA (CFA Institute, USA), CCM (Treasury Management Association, USA), is Professor of Finance in the Faculty of Business & IT at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Prior to joining UOIT, Dr. Cox was an Administration Manager with the Bank of Montreal and taught at Michigan State University, Saginaw Valley State University, Oakland University, and University of Memphis Central Michigan University. and was Professor of Finance and Chairman of the Department of Finance & Law at Central Michigan University.
Professor Cox has published four books and over sixty refereed articles in journals such as Journal of Finance, Financial Management, Review of Financial Economics, Abacus, Review of Futures Markets, Journal of Economics, Research in Finance, Financial Review, and Review of Economics and Statistics. Dr. Cox serves on the editorial board of Journal of Risk and Financial Management, Research in Financial Economics, Journal of Global Competitiveness, Business Quest, Journal of Business & Information Technology, and International Journal of Commerce and Management. His major research interests include corporate finance, investments and the superstardom theory.
