About the MDC
The Management Development Centre recognizes that in this rapidly changing technological age, learning is an ongoing process for executives, managers and professionals who must keep abreast of changing business and technological environments to remain competitive.
Besides being knowledgeable in their own business, executives, managers and professionals must possess a sound knowledge of business concepts and technology to make the right decisions on a timely basis.
As part of the Faculty of Business and Information Technology, the Management Development Centre offers courses to further enhance the management and technology skills of executives, managers and professionals. These courses are designed to help management and professionals succeed in the ever-changing global environment.
News from the MDC
On May 29th, 2009 in an official ceremony, the MDC was proud to award 37 graduates with the Masters Certificate in Municipal Management. This is our 5th year offering managers and professionals an intensive 16 week program. Participants gain the opportunity to improve management skills as well as to understand and gain knowledge in specific areas of public sector reforms and the challenge of new trends affecting municipal government.
