Background

Josh Lowe is a Senior Lecturer in the area of Advanced Computer Networking in the Bachelor of Information Technology (IT) program, and the Lead Instructor for the Cisco Networking Academy at UOIT. He is also responsible for designing, building and maintaining the UOIT Networking Lab. He has an extensive background in IT, specifically focused on networking and IT security. He has a wide range of education, including an Honours Diploma in Computer Systems Technology from Durham College and a Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) from UOIT, as well as numerous industry certifications from Cisco, Juniper and Microsoft. He has won multiple awards for his teaching skills and has worked for many large IT companies, including Cisco Systems Inc., Bell Canada and eHealth Ontario.
