Dr. Theresa Miedema teaches business law and ethics. She has a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) degree from the University of Toronto, where her research focused on law and international development. She also has extensive legal experience in the regulation of the information communications technology (ICT) sector. She has advised clients on the law and policy governing the Canadian information and communications technology (ICT) sector, and has participated in capacity-building initiatives in this sector at the international level. She has contributed to the ICT Regulation Toolkit as Editor and as an author (including co-author of the Toolkit’s pilot module on Licensing). She has also written about dispute resolution in the ICT sector. She loves teaching undergraduate students and is committed to exploring the use of technology to enhance students’ learning experiences.
